Cookie policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
This policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on bloohawk.com. It complements our Privacy policy and is governed by Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), the GDPR, and Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE).
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. It is used to remember information about your visit (such as your language or your shopping cart) or to understand how the site is used. Cookies can be first-party (set by Bloohawk) or third-party (set by the providers we work with).
2. Why we use cookies
We use cookies for three reasons: to make the site work correctly (technical), to process payments securely (Stripe), and to understand in aggregate how the site is used in order to improve it (analytics). We only use analytical cookies if you have given us your explicit consent through the banner.
3. Types of cookies we use
3.1. Technical or necessary cookies
These are essential for the operation of the site: they maintain your session, remember the products in your cart, and save your language preference. Without them, the site does not work. They are first-party cookies and cookies set by Vercel (our hosting provider). Legal basis: technical necessity, no consent required.
3.2. Payment processing cookies (Stripe)
During the payment process, Stripe may set cookies to detect fraud and protect your transaction. They are only loaded when you initiate checkout. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interest in fraud prevention.
3.3. Analytical cookies (Google Analytics 4)
If you accept these cookies in the banner, Google Analytics 4 allows us to know how many people visit the site, which pages are most viewed, and how visitors reach us, all in aggregate and anonymized form. We do not identify individual users with this data. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
4. Third-party cookies and international transfers
Some cookies are set by external providers (Google, Stripe, Vercel) that have their headquarters or servers outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are carried out under the safeguards provided by the GDPR: Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or adherence to the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More details in our Privacy policy.
5. How to manage your consent
When you first visit bloohawk.com, we show you a banner where you can accept or reject analytical cookies. Technical and payment cookies do not require your consent; they are necessary for the site to function.
You can change your choice at any time by clicking the button at the bottom of this page, or by adjusting the cookie settings in your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all have options to manage them). Note that blocking technical cookies may prevent parts of the site from working correctly.
6. Retention period
Each cookie has its own duration. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Google Analytics 4 analytical cookies are retained for the default configured period (typically between 6 and 14 months) and are deleted automatically. You can delete all cookies at any time from your browser.
7. Your rights
You have the same rights over data collected via cookies as over your other personal data: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability. To exercise them, write to us at info@bloohawk.com. More information in our Privacy policy.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we add or remove cookies, when our providers change, or when applicable legislation changes. The date of the last update appears at the beginning of the document. If the changes are substantial, we will notify you through available channels.
9. Contact
